Hello, It's Me provides a safe place for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to learn, interact, connect, and have fun through our products and community. We seek to make a positive change by providing a platform for people with IDD to connect and make friends while providing resources to help them grow in their social interactions. The App's Relationship Section allows you to meet people with similar interests and hobbies in your local area or country. It provides a safe and secure space to meet others in one-on-one conversations. You can also be a part of communities that like the same things as you! Joining a community that shares your interests is a great way to make meaningful connections, discover new interests, and make friends. With Hello, It's Me, you can join our Interest groups that share your interests, whether a hobby, music, sports, or any other topic. You can share your experiences, ask questions, and get advice from other community members. Our Interest groups are a great way to connect with like-minded people, get inspired, and learn new things. Hello, It's Me features interactive stories based on real-life situations. These stories allow users to make decisions that will shape the story's outcome, hence understanding the consequences of their actions and encouraging them to consider their choices more carefully. It also allows them to practice their decision-making skills in a safe, virtual environment. Users can explore and develop their skills in a safe, controlled environment. These stories can help people practice crucial daily living skills such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. The app also features a Relationship coaching section. Here, users can talk with trained Relationship Coaches who will guide them to learn the skills needed to develop and nurture relationships, which helps to prepare them for real-world scenarios and builds the confidence to take the initiative in social situations. The app emphasizes empathy and understanding rather than simply providing help. It encourages users to learn and understand social interactions and maximize their potential, helping them achieve their goals and build relationships that enrich their lives.
