Every time you hand over your phone, you brace a little. We built Live Lock to take that bracing away.

■ What Live Lock is

A parental control app for the moments you hand your phone to your child.
You pick the apps and screens you don't want touched (YouTube, games, Settings, purchases, your work apps). When your child opens one of them, that screen closes, and everything else works as usual.
You switch modes with a weekly schedule, or from your own phone through Google Calendar, without touching your child's phone.
Your first 14 days are free.

■ Let them use it. Just don't show it.

Ban everything, and the kids explode. Allow everything, and you can't look away.
What you really wanted was the middle.
The learning app and the drawing app stay open. YouTube and Settings are never on the screen.
Touch it, and the screen quietly closes. No fight to be had.

One event on the Google Calendar you already use.
Name it "Full lock", "Parent mode", or the name of a setting you saved, and for that hour your child's phone switches modes, from wherever you are.
No parent app. No new account. Nothing to learn. Add an event, delete an event. That's it.

■ Siblings, weekdays, weekends. One tap.

Weekday mornings, learning apps only. Evenings, games too. The older one gets learning and games; the younger one gets educational apps only.
Set up each scene once, and switching between kids is just picking a name.
"Thirty minutes of video, just for today" works too: set the time, and when it's over, the usual schedule takes over.

On your child's phone, pick only the apps you don't want shown.
Lending your own phone? Allow only the okay apps; the rest stay closed.
Either way, one tap switches it.

■ About the use of accessibility services
Live Lock uses the Android accessibility service (AccessibilityService API) as part of its function to close apps and screens. The AccessibilityService API is not used to collect or share personal or sensitive information. Details are shown on an in-app disclosure screen during initial setup. Please review them and enable the service yourself after agreeing.

■ About your device
Live Lock works with the core parts of the Android OS, so it covers most devices in general. However, because some manufacturers modify Android in their own way, behavior may differ by device, and we do not guarantee full functionality on every device. For this reason, a free tier and a trial period are provided. Before purchasing, you must test Live Lock on the device you will actually use and confirm that it works without problems.
