You already have the recipes. They’re just in your notes, camera roll, and saved posts. SousChef collects your recipes in one place and makes them powerful — with a shopping list, portion counter, and a relaxed cooking mode.

SAVE RECIPES FROM ANYWHERE
Paste a link from a recipe site or food blog. Snap a photo of a cookbook spread, or a screenshot you’ve already taken. Share a recipe from Instagram or TikTok right into the app. SousChef’s AI reads out ingredients, steps, and portions and turns it into a real recipe. If you want to type the recipe yourself, that’s okay too.

SELF-WRITING SHOPPING LIST
Add a recipe and the ingredients will appear on your shopping list, grouped by product group instead of in the order you came up with them. Share the list with the person you’re shopping with. Add staples and quick picks for things you always need.

PLAN WHAT TO COOK
Queue the recipes you want to cook and see them in your calendar. Change the number of servings and the ingredients and shopping list are automatically recalculated. Each recipe shows time, calories, cost per serving and which cuisine the dish comes from.

ONE STEP AT A TIME WHEN YOU COOK
Cooking mode shows what you're doing now and what's coming next, with the timer remaining at the top and a screen that doesn't turn off in the middle of cooking.

WORKS OFFLINE
The recipes are on your phone. You open them, cook them and check off the shopping list without being connected. The network is only needed when you import a new recipe or sync with your friends.

SousChef was built in Stockholm by two people who got tired of looking for the same recipe every week. An account is required, so that the recipes and lists remain when you change phones.
