About Litany: Affirmations 369 & 555

Litany turns your affirmation into a daily ritual. You don't just read it, you type it out, rep by rep, every day, until the words become how you think. That's where manifesting starts: with what you tell yourself, repeated until you believe it.

Write it, don't just read it
Most daily affirmation apps show you a card. Litany asks you to write yours: manifestation scripting, without the notebook. Put it in your own words, or start from a suggestion if you're stuck. Type it, hit send on your keyboard, and the rep is logged. A rep only counts when you've actually typed it, and small typos are forgiven.

Pick a ritual
• 555 (the 55x5 method): write it 55 times a day for 5 days
• 100/7: write it 100 times a day for 7 days
• 369 method: write it 18 times a day (3 + 6 + 9) for 21 days, at any time of day (not the morning, afternoon and night schedule)
Run several rituals at once, each with its own affirmation.

Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke has said he got over his fear of public speaking by spending ten minutes a day, for a week, writing "I love public speaking", and that writing something about yourself a hundred times rewires how you see yourself. The 100/7 ritual is our take on that idea.

Track every day
Litany is an affirmation tracker as much as a writing ritual. A progress ring counts today's reps, a grid marks each completed day, and your streak keeps you honest. A daily reminder nudges you at the time you choose, and an evening alert warns you if today's reps aren't done yet.

Miss a day? Save your streak
Short rituals get one save; longer ones get one for each week. Miss a day with no saves left and the ritual ends, so finishing one means something.

From affirmation to manifested
Finished rituals move to your Manifested list, with their dates, reps and streak. Restart any past ritual with its affirmation already filled in.

Share your ritual
Turn any ritual into a card for your posts and stories, showing your progress or your finished ritual, with or without your affirmation.

Calm by design
Marble and terracotta in light mode, charcoal and gold in dark mode, and a new Stoic quote to greet you each day.

Your words stay yours
No account, no sign-up. What you write stays on your phone; we never collect or see it. Export a backup file whenever you like, and import it on a new phone.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit." — Will Durant, summarizing Aristotle
