About Сhіckеn Bit

BitWear is the offline-first drill-bit wear drawer for tradespeople, shop techs, and DIY woodworkers. Open the app and land on a fullscreen rack of size slots—imperial, metric, or dual—so you know which twist, spade, Forstner, or masonry bit is still sharp before you climb the ladder. Every slot is a wear card with a diameter badge, family icon, and a color-coded chip: Sharp, Working, Dull, or Replace. Tap once to cycle the state, long-press to stamp Dull, or double-tap to restore Sharp without leaving the drawer. A bold edge stripe matches the wear state so status jumps out at a glance. Open any card to log the job you just finished—material plus a short task line—saved locally under that size. A job history strip keeps the last several notes with dates for that bit only. Filter the drawer by family (twist, brad-point, spade, Forstner, step, masonry) when you only need one set in view. Seeded kits cover common sizes from 1/16–1/2 in and 1–13 mm, and you can add custom diameters. Bits marked Replace auto-collect into a printable shopping strip for the next hardware run. Drawer density, unit preference, and dual labels live in local settings. Everything persists offline with on-device storage—wear states, job notes, and custom sizes work with zero network. No generic notes list, no fire-drill roster: just a fast shop surface for the bits you actually keep.

What’s new

Version 1.0.1790252152 · Updated October 6, 2026

Bit drawer update. Each size stays a wear card: one tap cycles Sharp, Working, Dull, or Replace, a long press stamps Dull, and a double tap restores Sharp. Job notes stay on that bit, family filters narrow the rack, and bits marked Replace collect into a list you can print. Everything is saved on the device and works offline.
