About S3XY CAN View
S3XY CAN View connects to your Tesla vehicle through the S3XY OBD WiFi gateway (ESP32-based OBD-II device) to display real-time CAN bus telemetry data.
Features:
- Speed Dashboard: Real-time speed dial, steering angle indicator, and vehicle alerts
- Battery Monitor (BMS): Detailed battery cell voltage monitoring with visual grid display
- CAN Explorer: Searchable list of all decoded CAN signals with real-time values and CSV export
- UDP Stats: Live connection statistics and data throughput monitoring
The app communicates over your local WiFi network using UDP protocol on port 1338. It decodes CAN bus frames using a comprehensive DBC database covering hundreds of Tesla-specific signals.
Requirements:
- S3XY OBD WiFi gateway device connected to your Tesla's OBD-II port
- Android device connected to the same WiFi network as the gateway
Privacy:
- No data collection or tracking
- No ads
- No internet access required beyond local network
- All vehicle data stays on your device
