Buddies is a budgeting app that runs entirely on your phone. No account to create, no cloud sync, no ads, no analytics, no trackers. The app ships without internet permission, and has no way to send your data anywhere.

KNOW WHAT'S LEFT TO SPEND

Group your categories into budgets — groceries, rent, subscriptions, whatever you actually track — and spending updates as you log records. Every budget shows the room left for the month, with colour-coded warnings as the limit gets closer: Caution, then Critical, then Over budget. Budgets can repeat monthly or cover a single month.

SEE WHERE THE MONEY WENT

Insights shows income, expenses and balance at a glance, with spending broken down by category so the pattern is obvious instead of something you have to work out. Open any budget to see what's left, what that works out to per day, and how many days are still in the month.

SPLIT BILLS WITHOUT A SERVER

The Buddies tab tracks shared expenses with friends or housemates. Log what was paid, keep a running balance of who owes whom, settle up when you're ready. No invites, no accounts, nothing sent anywhere — just a record on your own phone.

LOCKED, IF YOU WANT IT

An optional PIN lock keeps the app shut to anyone who picks up your phone. Because there's no account and no server behind it, there's also no way to recover a forgotten PIN. The app tells you this before you set one.
