Students use Engage to overcome the barriers to participation and anonymously convey their real-time understanding to teachers during lecture. The crafted, purposeful design of the app deters students from tuning out of the classroom and instead keeps them active and empowered in carving their own learning experience. Engage offers teachers quick and simple means to gauge class understanding and adapt accordingly through real-time visuals. Instructors can view both real-time and over-time data of class involvement and adjust their teaching strategies to best suit their students’ learning styles.
