About Exposed: Mobile Detective

A phone lands in your hands. Somebody wants to know what is on it.

Exposed is a found-phone detective game. A client hands you a smartphone that behaves like a real one — messages, photographs, mail, a calendar, banking, maps, a browser with tabs still open — and asks you questions about the person who owns it. Every answer is somewhere on that device. Nothing tells you which app to look in.

You type the answer
No multiple choice. There is no list to work down until something sticks. You read, you work it out, and you type a name, a date, a place. Near misses are forgiven, so spelling a name the way you heard it still counts.

A phone, not a menu
Fifteen apps that behave like the ones you use. Threads you scroll. Albums that open. A bank statement with eighty lines on it, one of which matters. Apps locked behind a passcode that is written down somewhere else on the phone, if you find it.

A wrong answer costs nothing
No timer, no lives, no streak to protect. Guess as often as you like. Stuck? A hint gives you the next clue on the question you are on: your first hints are free, and more come in packs, every week with the pass, or from a short video you choose to watch. That video is the only advert in the game, and nothing interrupts a search.

Start the first case free
The first case is free up to its last three questions. The Exposed Pass, a weekly or yearly subscription, unlocks its ending and every other case.

Fifteen languages
Chosen from your phone's own, changeable at any time. Every message, note and caption is written in each of them rather than run through a translator.

A detective story you investigate rather than watch: a cold case, an affair, a crime, and the evidence buried in somebody's texts, photos and search history. If you like mystery games, investigation stories and unsolved cases, this one asks you to find the answer yourself.
