TV Remote - LG,Samsung,Android

Lost your remote, or the batteries died? Your phone becomes your TV remote. One free app controls Samsung, LG, Sony, Android TV, Google TV and Chromecast, and also mirrors your screen and sends photos and videos to the TV.

Open the app and it finds TVs on the same Wi-Fi by itself. No brand to pick. No sign-up, login or payment.

■ TVs you can control
• Samsung Smart TV: press "Allow" on the TV once
• LG Smart TV (webOS, older NetCast): press "Allow" or enter the number on the TV once
• Android TV, Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV: enter the 6-digit code on the TV once
• Sony BRAVIA, VIZIO: enter the number on the TV once
• Chromecast, DLNA TVs: send photos, videos and music
A connected TV is saved and reconnects without a code. Save several TVs and switch between them.

■ Just like a real remote
• Large round D-pad and swipe pad
• Power, input, back, home, mute, volume, channel and number buttons
• Hold to keep volume, direction or channel moving
• Keyboard: type into the TV search box with your phone keyboard
• Input list, channel list, quick app launch (supported TVs)
• LG TV: move the pointer with the touchpad
• Change TV volume with your phone's volume buttons

• Buttons the TV does not accept are hidden, or the app tells you why

■ Screen mirroring
Show your phone screen on the TV. Each TV supports different methods, so the app tries the one that fits your TV first. The TV browser is used only when nothing else works.
• Android TV, Google TV: install "TV Remote Receiver" from the Play Store on your TV and keep it open, and the app sends to it first.
• LG TV screen share
• Your phone's screen cast (Cast)
• TV web browser: screen only, with sound, or real time by entering the number on the TV
• Photo slideshow: photos one by one instead of the screen
If it does not work, tap "Not working?" to switch methods. Stop mirroring right from the notification.

■ Send photos, videos and music
Pick photos, videos and music on your phone and open them on the TV.
• Photos: select all, auto slideshow (choose the interval)
• Videos, music: play, pause, seek, 10 seconds forward or back
• Add subtitles (srt, vtt, smi)

■ IPTV
Add your own IPTV playlist (M3U link or file) and channels are sorted into groups. Watch on your phone or send to the TV. The app does not provide playlists.

■ TV power and volume
• Turn on a TV over Wi-Fi (if network power-on is allowed in TV settings and you connected once while it was on). LG TVs that do not wake over Wi-Fi can also be turned on by Bluetooth.
• If TV volume does not change through a Chromecast or Android TV box, the app connects to the TV directly to change it.

■ Good to know
• Your phone and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi. If not, the app tells you and searches again once Wi-Fi connects.
• No infrared. Old TVs without Wi-Fi, air conditioners and fans cannot be controlled.
• Some features may not work on some TV models. Mirroring and sending work differently on each TV.
• For TV browser mirroring, only the connection details linking your phone and TV go through a server. Screen and sound go straight from phone to TV.
• To fix errors, the TV type, model, connection method and error details are sent as diagnostic logs. Your account and location are not sent.
• Ads appear as a bottom banner and when the app starts and closes. No full-screen ads cover the remote while you use it.
• Hisense VIDAA TV and Apple TV are not supported.
