Elder Dialler

Elder Dialler is a simplified Android phone app designed for older people and anyone who benefits from larger controls, clearer information and fewer steps when making and receiving calls.

Simple everyday calling

• Choose 6, 8 or 10 large speed-dial buttons
• Call from speed dial, Contacts, call history or the optional Dial Pad
• See clear missed-call indicators

Guided Setup

Guided Setup helps configure contacts, speed dials, SOS contacts, Safe Call Mode, Elder Mode and calling preferences. Themes, text sizes, button layouts and other display options can be adjusted to suit the person using the phone.

Elder Mode - included Free

Elder Mode can be activated to reduce accidental navigation away from Elder Dialler and make a complex phone into a simple phone. It provides a focused calling experience while keeping essential battery and unwanted complexity away.

SOS calling

The optional SOS button calls selected personal contacts in a chosen sequence. It is designed to make contacting family members, carers or other trusted people easier.

Manual SOS calling is included free. The optional Advanced Auto SOS feature can continue through the configured contacts using a selected countdown period until the sequence is stopped.

Note that Elder Dialler is not an emergency-response service. SOS makes ordinary telephone calls to one or more phone contacts and it cannot guarantee that a call will connect, be answered or result in assistance. It is not a replacement for contacting emergency services.

Call blocking and filtering

Individual callers can be blocked from Elder Dialler call history.

Advanced Safe Call Mode can reduce incoming calls from private, invalid or unmatched numbers by only allowing calls that match contacts saved on the phone.

Unfortunately no call-filtering system can identify or prevent every unwanted, fraudulent, spam or emergency call. Safe Call Mode may also reject legitimate callers who are not yet saved in the phone Contacts.

Optional Advanced features

A one-time in-app purchase unlocks four Advanced features:

• Contact photographs on speed-dial buttons
• Language selection
• Auto SOS countdown and continuation
• Safe Call Mode incoming-call filtering

Advanced is a one-time payment purchase, not a subscription.
Elder Dialler contains no advertising.

Privacy

Elder Dialler does not require an Elder Apps account.
Contacts, speed-dial assignments, preferences, blocked numbers and Elder Dialler call history are all stored locally on the device.


Requirements

Elder Dialler requires Android 10 or later.
It must be selected as the phone’s default calling app for complete incoming and outgoing call functionality.

Available features and behaviour may vary depending on the phone, Android version, mobile network and permissions granted.
