ΕΔΙΠΠΑΚ

Brief history:

The Administrative Staff Union of the University of Cyprus (ADPU) was established on 29 March 1994, following a unanimous decision of the General Assembly of the Administrative Staff. ADPU is registered with the Ministry of Labour in accordance with the Trade Unions Law, with registration number 946.

Prior to the establishment of ADPU, the Administrative Staff of the University of Cyprus was divided into separate unions. The members of the smaller unions saw that their unification into a larger and independent union would be for the benefit of all the Administrative Staff. And so it was.

All employees of the University of Cyprus who belong to the Administrative Staff upon their recruitment may apply to register as Members of ADPU.
EDIPPAK participates, representing the Administrative Staff, in various discussions within and outside the University of Cyprus that concern it, such as in the Administrative Staff Advisory Committee (SEDIP), other committees of the University Council, as well as in ad hoc committees that examine issues that concern the Administrative Staff. It also attends the House of Representatives upon invitation (e.g. Education Committee).
EDIPPAK is organized into five (5) branches (KL1-KL2-KL3-KL4-KL5).
EDIPPAK's financial resources come mainly from the contributions of its Members, but also from donations, bequests, fundraisers, receipts, income from performances and dances.
Our mission:

To highlight the issues that concern all the Administrative Staff of the University of Cyprus and to promote them for resolution. Also, the improvement of the working conditions and terms of employment of all Administrative Staff with the aim of improving their overall quality of life.

Our Vision:

To strive for and win a working environment that is a model for all modern organizations in Cyprus, which provides opportunities and incentives for Administrative Staff to creatively develop their knowledge and skills for the benefit of the entire University Community.
