Strands

How many conditioners have you bought because of the hype — only for your hair to hate them? Strands puts an end to that.

Paste the ingredient list. We tell you if it's right for you.

No more hours spent scrolling forums and comment sections. Paste any conditioner's INCI list and get a straight answer — does this formula support your hair's PEH balance, or throw it off?

PEH balance? We speak that language.

Proteins, emollients, humectants — every ingredient has a role, but it's all about the ratio. Too much protein on low porosity hair? It goes stiff and brittle. Not enough emollients on high porosity? Frizz and no moisture retention. Strands maps it all out and explains what's actually in that bottle.

Personalised to your porosity

Strands starts with a short but smart questionnaire. Tell us your porosity, hair structure, and current needs — and every analysis will be built around your hair specifically. Not "high porosity hair" in general. Yours.

You learn as you go

No blunt good/bad ratings. Strands explains in full sentences — what it found in the formula, why it might (or might not) work for you, and what to watch out for next time. You walk away smarter, not just with an answer.

Strands is for you if: → you've heard of PEH and always wanted to actually understand it → you have high porosity hair and proteins feel like a gamble → you have low porosity hair and heavy emollients just sit on top → good reviews aren't enough — you want to know why

Strands isn't another product database. We're not on anyone's gifted list — we just analyse ingredients for your hair.
