Crash is a British card game extension of the Nine-card Brag, also known as the Thirteen-Card Brag. The game is popular in Northern England and South Wales, and it is reported it is played in Edinburgh and Plymouth by the named Crackers. This particular game is known to have numerous variations. In Crash, a player receives thirteen cards and divides them into four sets. Players generally aim to reach a total of 15 points, gained over successive deals. In this mobile game, the users can select 7 to 15 points to end a game.
Origin: England
Numbers of players: 4 players
Type of game: Matching
Deck: Standard 52-card deck
Play: Clockwise
Card rank (highest to lowest): A K Q J 7 6 5 4 3 2
Game Goal: Reaching the target score
Gameplay---
Players are dealt 13 cards each and must sort their hand into 4 Brag hands of three cards, or if you are lucky enough, in 3 sets of 4 of a kind, discarding the last remaining card. The hands rank is the same as Brag with the highest ranking hand being, 3 threes.
All other hands are the same. Once the players have sorted their hands, each plays their highest ranked hand, and the player playing the highest gains one point. If hands are tied, no one scores. Players then play their second-best hands, then their third-best, then final hands. To win a hand a player must have a pair. Otherwise, the deal will be considered a tie.
The game uses a target score to determine when the play ends. That score can be anywhere between 7 and 10 points. It is common to increase the target score in games with less than 4 players.
To win the game, players must reach the target score. The game continues and new hands are dealt until a player reaches the target.
Crashing---
"Crashing" is a special feature in this game. A Crash occurs when 1 player wins all 4 points in a single deal. The player who wins the crash is rewarded with an additional 1 bonus point.
Hand Rankings(High to Low)---

COLOR RUN: Three cards in sequences of the same suit. A-2-3 is a viable run and the highest, despite A being the highest ranking card. A-K-Q is the second-highest run/Color Run. 2-A-K is not a valid flush or run.
RUN: Three cards in sequence of any suit.
COLOR: Three cards, not in sequence, of the same suit. For example, if all cards are spades, 7-10-Q is a Color.
PAIR: A pair is having any two cards of equal rank. For example, A-A-J.
HIGH CARD: A three-card hand that doesn’t form any of the above combinations relies on the high card- that is the highest ranking card. For example, in this hand: 5-10-K, K is the high card.
