DueNest: Expiry Reminders

Keep everyday items visible before they expire.

DueNest is a lightweight expiry reminder and home inventory app for the things that are easy to forget: food, household supplies, personal care items, medicines, pet supplies and plant-care tasks. Add an item, choose the date or recurring care schedule that matters to you, and receive a local reminder at the time you set.

SEE WHAT NEEDS ATTENTION
The home screen groups items by today, this week and later. Filter by category or date so items nearing expiry do not get buried in a long list. When a reminder is due, you can mark an item used, discarded, archived or postpone it.

TRACK EACH KIND OF ITEM YOUR WAY
⢠Food: expiry date, quantity, storage place and optional batch details
⢠Medicines: expiry date, remaining quantity and optional notes
⢠Personal care and cosmetics: opening date, period after opening, shade and texture
⢠Plants: separate watering, fertilising and care schedules
⢠Household and pet supplies: inventory, source and replenishment notes

Most fields are optional. Start with a name and date, then add detail only when it helps.

EXPIRY AND CARE STAY SEPARATE
An item expiry date is independent from recurring care. Completing one watering task advances only the next watering reminder; it does not change fertilising or the item's expiry date. Each plan has its own interval and advance reminder.

PLAN AHEAD AND FIND THINGS QUICKLY
Use the calendar to see upcoming expiry and care tasks. Add items by hand, photo or barcode; search, sort, filter and archive your inventory; and create custom text or choice fields such as brand, purchase source, pet name or storage location. You can also generate QR labels for common 40 Ã 20 mm thermal labels, then scan a label later to open the matching record.
