Corners are indices 0, 2, 6, and 8; all other cells are edge or center. After your first tap, every new tap must switch type—corner to non-corner or the reverse. Reusing a cell or breaking the alternation clears progress on the current streak. You have eighteen seconds per round to maximize cleared tiles while keeping the pattern valid.
