About Dnyanrang: Dnyaneshwari

Dnyanrang: Dnyaneshwari — The Essence of Dnyaneshwari (ज्ञानेश्वरी)

The Dnyaneshwari (ज्ञानेश्वरी; also spelled Jnaneshwari or Gyaneshwari), originally titled Bhavarth Deepika, is Sant Dnyaneshwar's 13th-century Marathi commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. Written when he was still in his teens, it turns 700 Sanskrit shlokas into over 9,000 Marathi ovis of extraordinary beauty and clarity — one of the greatest works of Indian literature and the foundation of the Varkari tradition.

Dnyanrang brings this masterpiece to your phone — to read, to listen to, and to live with, one ovi at a time.

READ
• All 18 adhyays, every ovi, in clear Devanagari with adjustable text size
• Original Gita shloka shown alongside the ovis it explains
• Simple Marathi meaning for each ovi
• Bookmark, search, copy and share any verse

LISTEN
• Recitation of every ovi, chapter by chapter
• Play continuously for parayan, or one ovi at a time to learn
• Background playback so you can listen while you work or travel

• Track your progress through the 18 adhyays

FOR EVERYONE
Dnyanrang is built for those who grew up with the Dnyaneshwari and equally for those discovering it for the first time — from anywhere in India or the world. Whether you read it, recite it or simply listen, the wisdom of the Gita in Dnyaneshwar's voice is open to all.

Pasayadan — the nine closing verses of the Dnyaneshwari — is included in full, with meaning and recitation.

Dnyanrang (ज्ञानरंग) means "the colours of knowledge". Immerse yourself.
