Scrapward: Horde Tower Defense

Your fortress walks. The Rusted swarm. Fill your Overdrive and stomp them flat!

You are the engineer of a four-legged walking war machine. Haul scrap under fire, turn it into turrets and hold the line while the Rusted pour in, from golden afternoon into the night. When the war machines arrive, your build has to earn the next step.

FORTRESS OVERDRIVE
• Kills, broken surges and boss phases fill your Overdrive. When it is full, tap to unleash it.
• IRON STOMP: the fortress rears up and slams a shockwave through the swarm.
• LANTERN LANCE: drag a burning beam across the horde.
• CARAVAN CHORUS: the band plays and every turret fires faster.
• From the second expedition you pick your form for each expedition, and on its third strike in an expedition it evolves.
• Land a stomp or lance while a boss winds up a blow: it cancels the blow and deals triple damage.

BUILD UNDER FIRE
• Move your engineer with one thumb. Haul scrap to the fortress, stand on a hardpoint to build and keep feeding it to upgrade your guns.
• Scrap piles up on your engineer's back as a stack of nuts, then peels off into the turret you build.
• Turrets fire on their own while you keep the machine alive.
• Time your Pulse to shock and slow the swarm.

SURVIVE THE HORDE
• Horde surges send a wall of the Rusted down one lane.
• Crawling hordes, flyers, burrowers and shielded escorts test every gap in your defense.
• Fight through day and night, from the Ember Foundry to the storm at Tidebreak Works.

MAKE YOUR BUILD HIT HARDER
• Level up and choose one of three upgrades. Combine perks with your turrets to unlock evolutions.
• Collect blueprints for 8 turret types, from the Bolt Cannon and Arc Coil to the Flame Jet and Shield Pylon.

BRING DOWN WAR MACHINES
• The Brute Captain crashes the march in the middle of a battle.
• Region finales pit you against war machines, from Railheart to Breakwater Zero, whose patterns change as the fight moves through phases.
• Watch for the exposed core and land your engineer's shots.

KEEP THE FORTRESS MOVING
• Fight through 40 expeditions across 4 wasteland regions and choose your route between battles.
• Clear a region's last expedition to restore the land and open its chest.
• Rescue 14 survivors who ride your fortress, write letters and join the band.
• Recruit 6 commanders with active abilities and passive bonuses.
• Upgrade your workshop, chassis, reactor and crew.
• Keep the campfire lit: play one expedition a day, and every night from night 2 brings a gift.

GO BEYOND THE CAMPAIGN
Replay cleared expeditions on harder Mastery tiers, push deeper in endless Deep Salvage and take on rotating weekly modes. Complete daily missions, climb the 28-day Daily Supplies ladder and the Season Pass, and paint your fortress. These unlock as you progress.

Portrait controls keep the action under one thumb. Choose from 11 languages, text-size options and color vision settings. Internet is required for ads, purchases and connected services.

Scrapward is free to play and contains ads. Optional in-app purchases include two auto-renewing monthly subscriptions (Salvage Pass and VIP+). Where random-item crates are sold, their odds are shown in game.
