Shadow: 3D Light Puzzle Game

Shadow is a calm 3D shadow puzzle game: turn a sculpture of blocks in the lamplight until its shadow fills the outline.

Step into a quiet gallery after hours. A lamp shines on a small sculpture of blocks, and its shadow falls on a canvas on the wall. Turn the sculpture until the shadow matches the outline exactly. That is the whole idea, and this 3D puzzle goes surprisingly deep.

HOW IT WORKS
• Drag the sculpture to turn it. It snaps in quarter turns, and the buttons work too.
• Each lamp throws a shadow: one onto the wall, one onto the floor.
• Fill every outlined cell with nothing outside it. Filled cells show a tick, missing cells a ring, cells outside a cross.
• Finish within par turns for three stars.

Each room brings a new idea to this shadow matching puzzle: a second lamp above the sculpture, shapes with a hole the light must pass through, sculptures on brass rods that turn only one way, a fading lamp with a limited number of turns, and pairs of sculptures that share one shadow.
