Family Locator: GPS & Safety

Family Locator keeps your family connected and worry-free. Everyone joins a private circle by invitation and decides for themselves whether to share their location — nobody is tracked without agreeing.

GREAT FOR
• Knowing your kids got to school or home without calling to check
• Peace of mind when grandparents or older parents are out on their own
• Meeting up with family and friends when everyone is on one map
• Sending SOS to the whole family in one tap when something goes wrong

KEY FEATURES
• Group chat: message everyone in your circle with text and emoji — new messages show right on the map
• Live family map: everyone's location, battery level and last update
• Live view: location updates every few seconds when you need it
• SOS widget on your home screen: one tap sends an emergency alert with your location, no need to open the app
• In-app SOS button: a 3-second countdown, then your family sees your live location for 10 minutes
• Location history, day by day
• Places like Home, School or Work: get alerts when family members arrive or leave, even when the app is closed
• Low battery and lost signal alerts
• Several circles in one app: family, grandparents, friends
• Invite with a 6-character code, QR code or username — people join only after accepting
• Available in 50 languages; still shows the last known locations when you're offline

PRIVACY FIRST
• Location is shared only inside circles you joined, with people you accepted
• You can pause sharing, leave a circle or delete your account at any time
• We never sell your location data

Background location is used to keep your family's map up to date and to send place alerts; continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
