Lockmint: Password Generator

Lockmint creates new, strong passwords — and tells you what every option actually does.

Most password generators hand you a wall of checkboxes with names like "unique characters" and "seed" and leave you guessing. Lockmint puts a plain-language line under every single option, so you always know what you are turning on.

Tap a preset and you are done in about a second.

WHAT IT MAKES
• Random character passwords, 4 to 64 characters

BUILT FOR REAL SITES
• Drop look-alike letters — leaves out l, I, 1, O and 0 so you never misread one
• Guarantee every type — at least one uppercase, number or symbol every time, not "usually"
• Choose exactly which symbols to use, because some sites reject half of them
• Save your own presets and name them, so a site with awkward rules is one tap away

STRENGTH YOU CAN READ
Every password shows its entropy in bits and, next to it, a sentence in plain English: "More than enough for any online account." Numbers alone tell you nothing if you do not already know what they mean.

OPTIONAL LOCAL HISTORY
History is off by default. Turn it on and Lockmint keeps what you generate on this device so you can label it — "work email", "home Wi-Fi" — and find it again. Turn it off and everything stored is deleted at the same moment. It is never sent anywhere.

CLIPBOARD THAT CLEANS UP
Copy a password and the clipboard clears itself a minute later. Fifteen seconds is too short and forever is too long, so you choose: never, 15 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. The copy is marked sensitive, so Android hides it from the clipboard preview.

HOME SCREEN WIDGET

PRIVACY
Everything happens on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in, no sync and no server of ours. Your passwords, presets and history never leave the device.

Please note: Lockmint is a password generator. It creates new passwords — it cannot find, reveal or recover a password you already use somewhere.
