The Late D.A. RAMACHANDRAN CHETTIAR a dynamic person started his jewellery carrier in 1931 at the age of fifteen in a small way with 2 people in a small place of 150 square feet at Coimbatore. He was a hard working and positive person. In 1962 he started diversifying his business into different fields like petrol station, hospitals, hotels and cinema theatre.

Mr. D.R.RAGUNATH, the last son of D.A.RAMACHANDRAN started his career in the year 1967 when he was just sixteen, under the able guidance of his father. He ventured successfully in to MARUTHI SUPER SERVICE, a petroleum retail outlet business, together gaining knowledge at his father’s jewellery business.

He started whole sale jewellery to various states in India and partly exporting the gold jewellery to the countries like UAE, UK, USA and SINGAPORE in the name DAR PARADISE.

After successfully doing the business he started his retail jewellery shop at Raja Street in Coimbatore in the year 1991 with a show room space 5000 Sq ft. It is a still an exclusive show room for finest hand crafted jewellery, reflecting the various cultures of India and has a loyal client that is snowballing.In 1992 D.A.R. Paradise started a fully equipped manufacturing unit.

DAR PARADISE was awarded as a BEST JEWELLER in Coimbatore in the year 1996.

An exclusive Diamond showroom also started in the year 1997 .

DAR PARADISE is the first shop to issue INTERNATIONAL GEMOLOGICAL INSTITUTES diamond certification in Coimbatore to the customer’s. DAR PARADISE was the first jewellery shop in south India to introduced 916 international quality jewellery in Coimbatore in the year 1998. In the year 1998 D.A.R.Paradise started refining unit to refine Gold with International standards.

In the year 2002 DAR PARADISE was the first jewellery shop in India to install a spectrometer which was imported from USA for the verification of jewellery purity within one minute for satisfying the customers. Another feather on the cap was the ISO certification in the year 2004.

At present Mr. D.R.RAGUNATH is the President for the TAMILNADU JEWELLERS’ FEDERATION and he is the C.E.A of COIMBATORE JEWELLERS ASSOCIATION, DAR PARADISE is the member’s in GEM’S & JEWELLERY EXPORT COUNCIL in India. Our Company at present having Export House status issued by DGFT.

For the going green, in the year of 2010 DAR PARADISE has installed a WIND MILL for the power generation for the company to use the power in the green way.
