MapScore: Location History Map

MapScore is an automatic location history and travel diary for Android. It records every trip, stop and street you explore, builds a timeline of your day on a map, and keeps it all encrypted on your phone. No account. No ads. Nothing uploaded.

Set it up once and put your phone away. Your timeline fills itself in.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?
Miss your old maps timeline? MapScore keeps a complete location history of every day from the moment you install it, stored on your phone instead of in the cloud. Scroll back to any date and see where you went, when, and how you got there.

YOUR DAY ON A MAP TIMELINE
• Trips and stops appear on their own: where you went, how long you stayed and the route you took
• Walking, cycling and driving recognized as you go, each drawn on the map in its own color
• Name a place once and MapScore remembers it
• Edit any stop or trip in a tap
• Open any past day to see exactly where you were

A MAP OF EVERYWHERE YOU'VE BEEN
• Lifetime Map: every street you travel clears the fog of war on your own map of the world
• Watch your explored area grow in square kilometers, city by city
• Countries visited, counted automatically out of 193, plus every place you've visited
• A travel map and travel tracker for the places you've been, with nothing to pin by hand

EXPLORERSCORE

• New places, unique routes and how you got around
• Day, week, month and year views with trends

ASK YOUR DIARY
• Ask "How many times did I go to the gym this month?", "How far did I walk last weekend?" or "When did I last visit the dentist?"
• Answered on your phone by an on-device model, with exact numbers from your own history

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your location history lives in an encrypted database on this phone
• No MapScore account and no MapScore server
• Street maps by Google Maps are optional; turn them off and MapScore draws your routes fully offline
• Export your location history as GPX, GeoJSON or CSV, or make a password-protected encrypted backup
• Import GPX or GeoJSON tracks that have timestamps
• Delete everything in one step

ACCURATE AND EASY ON BATTERY
• Precise GPS routes while you move; GPS switches off when you stay put
• Weak signal leaves an honest gap, never a guessed route
• A personal GPS logger and route tracker for walks, commutes and road trips
