AAD Lab Vigil

AAD Lab Vigil is a hands-on training simulator that recreates the interface and behaviour of a modern skydiving Automatic Activation Device (AAD), the Vigil 2 Cuatro, so you can learn to operate it with confidence before you ever touch the real unit.

Practice the full device flow on a faithful on-screen replica:
- Switch the unit on and off with the real press sequence and LED cues
- Watch the self-test (Bat OK, Cut OK, Ctrl OK) and step through the INFO, SETUP and CONFIG menus
- Set the activation altitude, mode and altitude scale
- Apply a dropzone altitude correction
- Read the display exactly as it appears on the device

Learn by doing:
- Guided lessons walk you through each task step by step
- Real-world scenarios test your understanding in context
- A fully interactive playground lets you explore every menu freely

Built for skydivers, students and instructors who want a pressure-free way to understand AAD operation, revise procedures, and build muscle memory away from the flight line.

Important
AAD Lab Vigil is an independent educational tool. Where it references the Vigil 2 Cuatro, it does so factually, as the device whose interface it models. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or developed by AAD nv/sa (Advanced Aerospace Designs), the manufacturer of the Vigil. It is not a substitute for the official manual or manufacturer-provided training. Behaviour may differ from the real unit. Always follow the official user guide and consult an instructor certified by your national parachuting authority before operating the actual device.
