About Arrowbend: Arrow Puzzle Escape

Tap an arrow. If the path ahead of it is clear, the whole arrow slides off the board. If something is in the way, it stays — and costs you a heart.

That is the entire rule. Everything else is reading the board.

Arrowbend is a minimalist logic puzzle with no timer, no dragging and no reflexes. Just a grid packed with snaking arrows and the question of which one can leave next.

WHAT MAKES THESE ARROWS DIFFERENT

Most arrow puzzles give you single squares. These arrows bend. They are long, winding chains — an L, a U, a staircase — and you have to trace a piece with your eye before you can tell whether its head has a clear run out. Following the line is the puzzle.

200 HAND-BUILT LEVELS, THEN ENDLESS

• 200 levels across 5 worlds, each one individually built and verified — never a random board dropped in front of you.
• Every fifth level is a showpiece: the board is shaped like a heart, a ring, a star, a cross, a moon, a diamond.
• Every twenty-fifth is a giant — up to 1,300 arrows on one board, with pinch and zoom to work your way around it. Those are a sitting, not a coffee break.
• Past level 200 the levels keep coming, generated fresh and always solvable.

EVERY BOARD IS GUARANTEED SOLVABLE

Not "checked by a solver" — built backwards from the solution, so a clear path out always exists. You will never be handed an impossible board, and the hint is always a legal move.

MECHANICS THAT ARRIVE ONE AT A TIME

• Bent arrows that snake across the grid
• Locked arrows that open only once you clear their key
• Obstacles that never move and never leave
• Double-headed arrows you can turn end for end before committing

Each one is explained the first time you meet it, on the board where it appears — never a wall of tutorial up front.

HOW TO PLAY

1. Look at the board and pick an arrow.
2. Trace the line from its head to the edge of the grid. Is every square on that path empty?
3. If it is, tap it — the arrow slides out along its own trail and the board opens up.
4. If it is not, that tap costs a heart. Three hearts on an ordinary board, five on a giant.
5. Clear every arrow before the hearts run out. Finish with hearts to spare and you keep them as stars.

Stuck? A hint will show you an arrow that can leave right now. The free hint comes back every level.

HONEST ABOUT ADS

• No ads during a level. Ever. Not when you win, not when you lose.
• A full-screen ad appears after every fourth level you complete — that is the whole schedule.
• One banner, on the level list only. Never under the board.
• Watch a video by choice for an extra heart or an extra hint, never because you are blocked.
• One small one-time purchase removes the ads for good. No subscription.

PLAYS ANYWHERE

Fully offline. No wifi, no signal, no account, no sign-up. Open it on a plane, on the underground, in a waiting room. Your progress is on your device.

QUIET ON PURPOSE

Navy line art on white paper. One red heart. No flashing, no confetti cannons, no chirping meters demanding attention. Music, sound effects and haptics each have their own switch, and all three can be off.

GOOD FOR

• Anyone who likes nonograms, sudoku, unblock and escape puzzles, minesweeper, or minimalist brain teasers
• Training spatial reasoning, forward planning, patience and focus
• A quiet five minutes, or a long sitting with a giant board
• Players who would rather read a grid than race a clock

NO TIMER, NO PRESSURE, NO LUCK

Nothing on the board is hidden and nothing is random. The same level is the same level for everyone, every time, so a board you could not crack today is still waiting exactly as it was. There is no energy meter, no lives that refill on a clock, nothing to wait for and nothing to chase. Take an hour over one tap if you want to.

Clear the board, one arrow at a time.
