CT Group Digital GatePass is a smart campus security, visitor management, and movement control platform built for the CT Group of Institutions. It digitizes gate operations, pass approvals, visitor handling, and role-based access to create a secure, efficient, and fully trackable campus environment. The app is designed for students, parents, faculty, security teams, and administrators, with workflows tailored to each role so that every movement event can be reviewed with clarity and accountability.

The platform replaces manual registers and paper-based gate approvals with a centralized digital system that improves operational speed and consistency. Students can submit gate pass requests through structured workflows, and authorized approvers such as HODs or Principals can review, approve, or reject requests with remarks. This creates transparent communication across departments and ensures movement decisions follow institutional policy.

At entry and exit checkpoints, digital verification helps security teams validate permissions quickly and accurately. Visitor registration is also digitized, allowing campuses to maintain better records for guests, vendors, and institutional visits. Parent accounts can be linked to student profiles to provide timely updates about relevant pass and movement activity, helping strengthen communication and safety oversight.

CT Group Digital GatePass includes role-based access so each user sees only the features relevant to their responsibilities. Administrative users can monitor activity, review records, and maintain governance through a centralized interface. Real-time status updates improve response time for approvals and gate operations, while multilingual support in English, Hindi, and Punjabi improves accessibility for diverse campus users.

The app uses location to support campus presence validation and authorized movement compliance. Background location is used only for active approved gate pass workflows where institutional movement verification is required, and this usage is tied to safety, security, and compliance. The app does not use location for advertising purposes. Data handling follows secure transmission practices, and account/data lifecycle controls are supported according to institutional process and policy requirements.
