About CRRT Advanced Simulator

CRRT Advanced Simulator is an offline training tool for ICU nurses and doctors learning continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). Set up a circuit, enter blood-gas values, advance time hour by hour, and watch how the labs evolve — with teaching notes and guideline citations on every choice.

WHAT YOU CAN PRACTISE
• Four modalities in one app: CVVHDF and CVVH, each with Heparin or Regional Citrate Anticoagulation (RCA).
• Effluent dose & clearance — set blood, dialysate, replacement and net-ultrafiltration flows and see the delivered mL/kg/h against the KDIGO 20–25 target.
• Pre- vs post-dilution and its effect on clearance.
• Regional citrate anticoagulation — citrate dose, calcium reinfusion, post-filter and systemic ionised calcium, and the citrate-accumulation / toxicity scenario.
• Acid–base and electrolytes — bicarbonate, pH, potassium, phosphate, sodium and calcium kinetics.

HOW IT WORKS
• A step-by-step workflow: pick a scenario → review the patient → enter starting labs → set the pumps → choose mode & circuit → advance time → read the results, treatment goals and assessment.
• Preset ICU patients: refractory hyperkalaemia, septic AKI, rhabdomyolysis, cardiorenal overload and metformin-associated lactic acidosis (MALA).
• Clinical Case Challenge: decide mode, anticoagulation and settings for realistic cases (active GI bleeding, HIT, cirrhosis with shock, diuretic-resistant overload, and more), then get scored feedback.
• Theory & Principles: a built-in reference covering CRRT basics, CVVH vs CVVHDF, clearance, dilution, anticoagulation, citrate and fluids.
