About Digital ID Verifier

Credence ID's Digital ID Verifier is an ISO 18013-5 standard-compliant app to accept and authenticate mobile drivers licenses (mDL). You can verify mDL holder’s age or identity by scanning QR code or NFC tap of the holder’s phone. It allows for the quick, secure, and flexible acceptance of government-issued mDL (mobile or digital ID).
* Digital ID Verifier app is a component of Credence ID’s Verify with Credence (VwC™) ID verification platform which provides a comprehensive solution for relying parties to accept and verify digital IDs such as mDL issued by different states
* The digital ID verifier app conforms to ISO/IEC 18013-5 and offers secure, offline, and in-person verification of mDL holder
* Consent driven, privacy preserving app, built with “privacy by design” & doesn’t store personally identifiable information (PII)

How to use the app?
Note: This app requires user account created with Verify with Credence management portal to login to the app
1. Instructions to create user account
a. Register your organization on Verify with Credence management portal by visiting https://verify.credenceid.com/ or send an email to [email protected]
b. Create user accounts with email address & phone number on the management portal that can be used to login to the app

2. Open the Digital ID Verifier app and enter the country code & phone number to receive a verification code
3. Enter the verification code and followed by the user account password for the management portal to login to the app
4. Once you are logged in, choose QR code or NFC device engagement options depending upon holder preference to verify digital IDs
5. Follow on screen instructions to complete the age or ID verifications
