Creator Cam captures a single take and writes two finished MP4 files at the same time — a landscape 16:9 video for YouTube and a vertical 9:16 video for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok. The viewfinder shows one shape full-screen and the other in a window you can move — landscape and vertical, both live, side by side. Tap it to swap which one fills the screen. Both previews show exactly what is being saved, so nothing surprises you when you open the files.

Everything is automatic until you decide otherwise. Then: ISO, shutter speed and white balance by hand, an exposure slider, and a tap to lock focus and exposure so a passing cloud cannot change your shot halfway through. Every dial opens on what the camera is already doing, so taking over never jumps the picture.

Losing footage is the worst thing a camera app can do, so that is where the work went. Both videos are closed out properly the moment you press stop and moved straight into your gallery under DCIM/Creator Cam, sitting alongside everything else you shoot. Leave the app mid-take and your recording is stopped and saved, not lost.
