About WE DREAM Academy
WE DREAM Academy is a New Jersey-based nonprofit workforce training provider dedicated to preparing youth, young adults, and adults for high-demand careers in the creative arts, digital media, hospitality, and entertainment production sectors.
Founded by industry professional and educator Mark A. Beckett, the Academy responds to a critical workforce gap in Essex County by offering accessible, employer-informed training programs that equip residents with technical skills, certifications, and career pathways leading to employment.

Training Model
WE DREAM Academy operates using a three-pillar approach:
Technical Skills Training – hands-on instruction aligned to labor market demand
Industry Credential Preparation – including WorkKeys NCRC, ServSafe, Audinate Dante Levels 1 & 2, and Adobe certification prep
Career Navigation & Job Placement – coaching, employer referrals, and workforce readiness
The Academy prioritizes residents facing barriers to employment, offering programs that address inequities, support workforce participation, and connect graduates to sustainable career opportunities.
