We envision a world where every child is empowered to reach her/his full potential and be whoever they want to be, regardless of their gender, race, country or tribe, religion, class, or sexual orientation. A world where diversity and inclusion are celebrated.

We aim to create a world where children discover their passions, celebrate their uniqueness, and become fully themselves through fun and educational stories and activities.

We focus our efforts on-screen quality, content matters. Our content is:
Educational: creative and didactic content for active learning.
Thought-provoking: making children think critically and analytically.
Skills promoting: focus on critical thinking, and creativity.
Diverse & inclusive: value and practice respect for others.

Aequaland is turning storytelling into a modern art form that packs equal parts of imagination, education, and intrigue! The stories are for children aged 3-6-9. Our activities enable children to discover their passions, foster their differences and learn that it’s possible to live their dream.

Our characters have strong values and are very diverse and complementary with the aim to practice respect for others. The characters will be used in multiple stories, so children get to know them, identifying and connecting with them.

At the end of each story game, we offer educational activities for children to play off the app, and reflect on the meaning behind each story. Each activity is based on a story and invites every child to go on an inspirational journey. Here are some examples:
Writing: imagine you are a character in the story, write two things about your personality.
Drawing: imagine you live with Digo on the yellow planet. How would you feel? Draw it.
Cooking: design a dish of what you will eat on the yellow planet.
Costume Quest: design a costume inspired by the blue planet. Let your imagination run wild and dress up.
Video Maker: if you could communicate with the blue planet, what message would you send?

Parents are becoming increasingly conscious that children are immersed in a social environment that produces and perpetuates rigid roles. The stereotypes we see in entertainment, retail, media, and education impact children’s development.
Parents recognize the need to empower their children to reach their full potential. That’s what we do.

Our purpose is to give children the opportunities to live their passion, celebrate their uniqueness, and become the best version of themselves.

We want to disrupt the storytelling. We want to rewrite the reality we have been told to accept; we want to stand up for what it’s right, and hope of changing the world for the better.
