About Nearmiss

One finger. One winding road. One nerve-testing question: how close can you get?

Nearmiss is an endless neon driving game with a single control — hold your finger
on the glass and steer. The road twists off into the dark ahead of you, and your
only job is to keep the car between the glowing edges. Easy to start, impossible
to put down.

But driving safely down the middle barely scores at all. The points are out at
the paint. The closer you ride to an edge without touching it, the faster your
score multiplier climbs — and the louder the car sings, throwing sparks off its
flank. Pull in to survive a bend and the multiplier cools off; hold your nerve
at the edge and it soars. Every run is a running bet between greed and control.

The further you get, the harder it pushes: the road narrows, the speed rises,
and the bends come sharper and sooner. There is always one more metre to chase.

KEY FEATURES

🏁 One-finger control — hold and steer, no buttons, no tutorial, no learning curve
⚡ The near-miss multiplier — the signature mechanic that rewards driving on the edge
🌌 Procedural roads — every run is a fresh, smooth, endless track you have never driven
🪙 Coins to collect — scattered along the paint, so grabbing them is a real decision
💥 Hazards with teeth — oil slicks that shove you sideways, boost arrows that speed
you up, and dark tunnels that test your reflexes
🎬 Cinematic crashes — a flash of slow-motion so you always see exactly what happened
🚗 A garage to earn — six car shapes and five road themes, all bought with the coins
you win by playing, all drawn by hand in glowing neon
🌙 Dark neon minimalism — a clean, moody look built for speed and focus
🔊 A synthwave soundtrack and crisp, punchy sound

PLAYS ANYWHERE

Nearmiss is fully offline. No internet connection is ever needed or requested, so
it works on a plane, on the subway, or with the signal off. No accounts, no data
collection.
