ReelQuest: Fishing Rules

Know exactly what you can catch and keep, wherever you fish in Ontario.

ReelQuest turns Ontario's fishing regulations into a clear answer for your exact
spot. Use your location or drop a pin on a lake, and ReelQuest shows what's open, what's catch and release, and what's closed, right now.

KNOW THE WATERS
- Regulations by location: open seasons, catch limits, and size limits for your
zone and waterbody.
- Every species at your spot: see the fish available where you are, each with the
rules that apply.
- The fine print, surfaced: waterbody exceptions, sanctuaries, and special
restrictions that general summaries bury.

LOG EVERY CATCH
- Record your catches with species, length, weight, a photo, and the conditions.
- Your catch history, always with you.

BUILD YOUR FISHDEX
- Collect the species you catch and the lakes you fish.
- Watch your personal Ontario fishing dex fill in over the season.

WHY ANGLERS USE REELQUEST
- Fish with confidence, no more guessing whether the season is open or a limit
changed.
- Organized around where you actually are, not a 200-page PDF.
- Fast answers on the water, even for the tricky waterbody-specific rules.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Set your location with GPS, or pick a lake.
2. See the species and rules for that spot.
3. Tap a species for seasons, limits, and sizes.
4. Log your catch and grow your FishDex.

A NOTE ON THE RULES
ReelQuest helps you understand Ontario's fishing regulations, but it is not a
substitute for them. Always follow posted signage and confirm against the current Ontario Fishing Regulations Summary before you fish.
