About Volleyball Rotation: 5-1, 6-2

Volleyball Rotation is a coaching board app that shows your 6-a-side volleyball team's rotations right on the court. Just add player names and numbers, and it instantly draws the Serve, Receive and Base positions for every rotation from R1 to R6, checking for overlaps (position faults) in real time.

Club coaches and captains, school PE teachers and players just starting out can all understand tricky rotations easily and share them with the team.

■ Rotation board
• Swipe through rotations R1 to R6 on one board
• Formations for three phases: Serve / Receive / Base
• One tap animates players with curved arrows from Serve or Receive spots to their Base positions
• Player chips turn clockwise as you move to the next rotation
• An info card sums up the current server, setter position and libero replacement, one line each

■ Real-time overlap (position fault) check
• Checks follow the actual rule: only players next to each other front-to-back or side-to-side are compared (diagonals excluded)
• Drag player chips to edit a formation, and it is checked while you drag
• Faulty pairs are flagged with red dotted lines, icons and a plain-language explanation
• Choose a rule set: FIVB 2025 (serving team not checked), Previous rules (both teams checked), US rules (libero may serve)
• Default Receive formations are generated overlap-free for every system and rotation

■ Systems and lineups
• Supports 5-1, 6-2, 4-2 and Simple rotation
• Auto-fill from template based on roles (Setter, Outside Hitter, Middle Blocker, Opposite, Libero)
• Set who the libero replaces (both MBs or choose players), swapping automatically in the back row only
• Save multiple lineups per team, and restore any edited formation to its default at any time

■ Share as an image
• Turn all six rotations, R1 to R6, into a single image to save or send straight to your messaging app
• Pick the phase to export: Serve, Receive or Base

■ Simple match mode
• Just tap Our point / Their point, and serve possession and rotation are tracked automatically
• Watch the rotation turn with an animation on every side-out
• Shows the current and next server, set scores and a set-end prompt
• Substitution counter per set, unlimited undo, and keep the screen on during matches

■ Volleyball rules guide
• Zone numbers, rotation direction, overlap rules, the 2025 rule change, libero rules, system comparison and stacked reception
• Short, easy explanations with court diagrams

■ More features
• Daily practice reminders at a time you choose
• Light / Dark mode
• No sign-in needed, and team and player data stays on your device only

※ Rule explanations are for reference only. Rules can vary by competition, so be sure to check the regulations of the event you are entering.
