About Tennis Stats: One-Tap Tracker

Why did you lose today? Find out from the numbers, not the feeling.

Tennis Stats records every point of your singles match with a single tap and, the moment the match ends, breaks down set momentum, winners versus errors, serve percentages and your strengths and weaknesses. It is built to be used one-handed on court.

■ One tap per point

Big buttons sit in two columns, you (green) and your opponent (orange), so you can press them without looking. Winners, aces, opponent unforced errors, forced errors and double faults are a single tap. For your own winners and errors, one more tap picks the shot: forehand, backhand, volley or smash. Hit the wrong button? Undo removes the last point instantly.

■ First serves count themselves

Tap Fault before a second serve and your first serves in and out add up automatically. Double faults are one button too. After the match you get first serve percentage, points won on first and second serve, and service and return points won.

■ The scoreboard keeps itself

Record a point and the app scores 0, 15, 30, 40, deuce and advantage, plus games and sets. Choose one set, best of three or best of five, whether to play a tiebreak at 6-6 and who serves first, and the app follows the rules for serve rotation and tiebreaks. The screen stays on while you track, and a match in progress is saved when you leave, ready to resume from the home screen.

■ Post-match report

A momentum chart for each set shows where you took control and where you lost it. Winner to error ratio, winners and errors by shot type, serve statistics and a head-to-head comparison with your opponent are laid out card by card.

■ Strengths and weaknesses in plain words

Comments like "Your backhand is leaking errors", "Your first serve percentage dropped in set 2" or "Strong net game" tell you what the data found, so you know what to work on at the next practice.

■ History and trends

Finished matches are grouped by opponent and by month, and any match can be reopened for its report. The Trends tab shows your season record and win rate, first serve percentage and win rate over the last six months, your shot profile across all matches and your record against each opponent. Your head-to-head against your rival is always one glance away.

■ Daily reminder

A gentle nudge at the time you choose to log today's match. Change the time whenever you like, or turn it off.

■ Remove ads

A one-time purchase removes all ads forever. Not a subscription.

■ Light and dark theme

Follow the system setting or pick light or dark yourself.

All data stays on your device. This first version supports singles matches; doubles is in the works.
