About Newborn Frame: Baby Milestones
A photo editing tool for parents and guardians.
You take photos of your baby, and months later you cannot tell when any of them were taken.
Register the date of birth once and today's days-old count goes onto the photo by itself.
Choose a photo, choose a frame, save. Three steps and you are done.
■ The app counts the days
You never have to work out the days, the weeks or the months yourself.
It follows the Korean way of counting, where the day of birth is D+1.
· Day 21, 100 Days, 200 Days, 300 Days, 500 Days
· 1 Month Old through 24 Months Old
· First Birthday and Second Birthday
Born on 31 January? The February mark lands on the 28th. Leap years are handled too.
The home screen shows the next three milestones as a D- countdown, and where today sits
between the last milestone and the next one.
■ 50 frames
Six groups: everyday, milestones, growing up, seasonal, pregnancy and twins.
18 are ready to use straight away, and the rest open on the spot when you watch an ad.
Pick a frame and the preview arrives with the name and the date already filled in.
If the wording is not what you want, you can rewrite it yourself.
Twin and triplet frames have several photo slots, so each child gets their own name and
day count.
■ From before the birth
Register the due date and the card is built from the week of pregnancy and the days left
until the birth.
Once the baby arrives and you enter the date of birth, it switches to the days-old count
from that day on, and the cards you made during the pregnancy stay in the album as they are.
■ Height and weight
Record height, weight and head circumference and the chart shows you the trend.
The numbers you have logged can go into the card text as well.
■ Home screen widget
Today's D+ is there without unlocking the phone.
The small widget shows the day count, the medium one adds the card you made most recently.
It refreshes once a day at midnight, so it is easy on the battery.
■ One reminder a day
On the day of a milestone it tells you the day has come, and otherwise it gently suggests
leaving a photo behind.
You can move the reminder to whatever time suits you, and switch it off completely in the
system settings.
■ Photos never leave the device
Editing and saving both happen on the device.
There is no code in the app that sends photos or your baby's details to a server.
Photos are chosen through the Android photo picker, so no storage permission is asked for.
Only the one photo you picked is handed to the app.
■ Also
· Saved at 2048px or more. Sharp enough to print
· Square, portrait and print ratios
· Up to 3 babies can be registered and switched between
· The album gathers the cards you have made month by month
· Light mode and dark mode are both supported
· Saved cards go into your gallery as well
Your child's today does not come around again.
Leave the date of that day on the photo.
