BallGear: Baseball Gear Log

Gear wears out quietly. A record tells you when it is time.

BallGear keeps your gloves, bats, cleats, helmets and catcher's gear in one place,
builds a usage log for each one, and warns you before it needs replacing.
It is made for amateur players, youth league players and the parents who look after their gear.

Shape a new glove with a step by step checklist.
Oiling, ball in the pocket tied with a lace, playing catch, wrist and strap adjustment, final oiling and storage
Set a target for playing catch and count it up one throw at a time.
Reorder, add or remove steps, and watch the overall progress bar move.

[Usage log]
After a game or practice, one tap on the card logs today's use.
Pick a date and count to add or fix past entries.
Every item keeps its total uses and last used date.

[Replacement alerts]
Each item can have two limits at once.
By uses: for example 300 for a bat, 100 for cleats
By time: months since purchase or since the last replacement
You get a heads-up when either limit is close, and another alert when it is reached.
Defaults are filled in per category and you can change them for any item.
Replaced it? Mark it as replaced and the count starts over from that day.
