Naked Eye: Stargazing

The best sky moments, without the charts.

Naked Eye helps you answer one simple question:

Is there anything worth going outside to see tonight?

Instead of overwhelming you with complicated star maps and huge catalogues, Naked Eye focuses on the brightest, most worthwhile things you can actually see with the naked eye.

See when the International Space Station is worth looking for, discover which bright planets are visible, check meteor shower opportunities, follow aurora conditions and find the clearest windows in your local sky.

Know what to look for...
Naked Eye ranks tonight’s best targets using real sky conditions, visibility and local weather so you can quickly see what is worth your time.

Find it in the sky....
Target Lock and Live Sky guidance help point you in the right direction, with simple bearings, altitude and live positioning instead of complicated astronomy charts.

Know when conditions are right...
Cloud cover, darkness, moonlight and local viewing conditions are built into the experience, helping you avoid walking outside just to stare at cloud.

Let Naked Eye watch the sky for you....
Choose the moments that matter to you and receive useful background alerts for clear-sky opportunities, meteors, aurora activity and other worthwhile sky events when conditions support them.

Built for ordinary people who want to look up....
You do not need a telescope, astronomy knowledge or experience reading star maps.

Just open Naked Eye, see what is worth finding, step outside and look up.

Naked Eye — less time studying the sky, more time experiencing it.
