Word Game: Language Learning

Words App is the first real game to learn a foreign language.

Mobile games attract players with the fun and pleasure of false achievement - they often become an unhealthy addiction and ultimately just waste our time.
Apps for language learning help us acquire new languages but are boring and rarely are a source of joy. Unless you are a fan of apps that stalk you and bombard you with reminders until you start to hate the whole process of learning itself.

In Words App we've got rid of the worst for you and combined the best of both worlds - games and education apps - and spiced it up with additional flavor.

Fans of match-3 genre, puzzle games as a whole and lovers of games like Wordscapes, Words with friends or Word Connect will find themselves on familiar ground but with a twist: Words App has ways to surprise you. On the playing board instead of the usual colourful match-3 pieces you’ll find words and their translations. Match the words as if you were matching puzzle board pieces to make them disappear, collect boosters that clear the playing field and complete levels with ever-growing vocabulary of Spanish words from topics you’d love to learn. But remember, it is a game, so you’ll have a limited number of moves to succeed in each level!

The game will suit you regardless of your Spanish language experience - anywhere from the very beginner to an expert. Based on your level, your learning goals and interests, Words App chooses a unique learning course consisting of vocabulary, grammar and phrases from dialogues. The course itself is divided into small topics of 40-60 words, 10-20 phrases and 2-3 grammar rules. Enough to feel your progress in the language you’re learning but not too complex to make you bored.

To watch a movie in Spanish language, pass an interview, order a meal at the restaurant or just exchange a few phrases with the locals - all of this becomes available to you without any hard work. You simply play the game and in a few days surprise yourself by using the newly learned words in action.

A world of Words App is an exciting journey through Spanish-speaking countries and cities while diving into the Spanish language. Not only do you learn new words and phrases in foreign language, you get to know bits and pieces about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries and cities: holidays, history, habits and traditions along with a bit of trivia await you on this colorful journey!

3. Train your listening comprehension, translating skills, grammar and just have fun while doing it!
4. A smart AI based on the “forgetting curve” is at the core of the game! Words App will be bringing up words and grammar rules from time to time again - words that you would otherwise forget!
5. Explore new game modes and mechanics! The more you play, the more fun ways to learn you find out along the way.
6. You can play anywhere: take a break from your work, entertain yourself on your commute, learn something useful before you fall asleep, switch to beating a few levels when your Facebook feed stopped being funny and your Instagram feed has received your days worth of likes. 7. The most unusual and colorful app that is actually making you better every day!
8. Just play and let the new words and Spanish grammar sink in by themselves.
9. Words App is free to play. You can buy a premium subscription or a booster pack that would help you get through a few hard levels but 99% of players had managed to pass even the hardest ones without spending a single cent.
