About Code the Robot
Meet Bolt, a friendly little robot who needs your help to reach the stars! Code the Robot teaches kids the real ideas behind computer programming through colourful puzzles. No reading-heavy lessons and no typing, just tap, plan and play.
HOW IT WORKS
• Tap the arrow blocks to build a program: up, down, left and right.
• Press Play and watch Bolt follow your code, step by step.
• Bumped into a gumdrop? Bolt shows exactly which block went wrong, so kids learn to find and fix bugs.
• Reach the star in as few blocks as possible to earn all 3 stars.
WHAT KIDS LEARN
• Sequencing: putting steps in the right order
• Loops: repeat a block ×2, ×3 or ×4 to write shorter code
• Debugging: test, spot the mistake, fix it
• Problem solving and planning ahead
• Patterns, algorithms and efficient thinking
200 LEVELS IN 10 WORLDS
Candy Land, Jungle, Ocean, Space, Robot City, Desert Dunes, Frozen Peaks, Fairy Forest, Volcano and Rainbow Castle. Each world brings a new idea, new scenery, new obstacles and a new colour for Bolt to unlock!
MADE FOR YOUNG LEARNERS
• Designed for ages 5–10
• Step-by-step guided tutorial on the very first level
• Gentle difficulty curve that grows with your child
• Friendly hints when they get stuck
• Big, colourful buttons that are easy for small fingers
• Plays offline, so it's great for car trips and travel
• No sign-up or account needed
Code the Robot turns screen time into thinking time. Every level is a small puzzle that builds logical thinking, patience and confidence, the same skills real programmers use every day.
Ready to code? Bolt is waiting!
