About Farout: Krillion Trivia Game
A daily trivia game where the obvious answer loses.
Farout is a daily quiz of seven trivia questions, the same seven for every player, with thirty seconds to answer each one. The rarer your answer, the deeper your dive goes.
Most people say dog. You say axolotl, and drop up to 5,125 feet in one answer.
How a dive works
• Seven prompts a day, each one a category to fill
• Type your answer. There is no multiple choice
• Thirty seconds per prompt, and an accepted answer is locked in
• Give the obvious answer and you stay near the surface. Give one few people think of and you dive like a submarine
• Rarity comes from published estimates, not live player counts
• Seven great answers reach the Challenger Deep, the deepest point in the ocean, 35,876 feet down
A different mix every day
Every day is a deep dive into general knowledge: each daily game mixes seven genres, so animal trivia, food trivia and history trivia can share a day with movies, music, places, nature or wordplay. A history trivia prompt can have many accepted answers, and the rarest one is worth the most. That makes Farout daily trivia of a different kind: the challenge is not knowing an answer, it is knowing one few people will think of.
Not your usual trivia quiz
Most quiz games want the one right answer. This trivia game wants the right answer few people think of. It is a guessing game in reverse: don't guess the answer everyone will give, find the one nobody will. Broad general knowledge trivia helps, but the obscure corners of it are where you win. If you collect fun facts nobody asked for, this is where they finally count. Part trivia quiz, part categories word game, it rewards the memory you never get to use. Think of it as a daily puzzle for the curious and a five-minute brain workout.
If you like the deep end
Played Krillion.io in your browser? Farout is a separate game built for your phone, with seven new prompts every day and a streak to keep. Love games like Subnautica or DREDGE, where the deep sea gets stranger the further down you go? Farout puts that pull of the deep into a five-minute trivia game. And fans of daily games like Wordle know the ritual: one puzzle, the same for everyone, then compare with friends. Farout keeps the ritual and flips the goal: the winning answer is the one few people find.
Play with friends
Everyone plays the same daily quiz, so every result is comparable. Share a spoiler-free result card with your score and the odds of your rarest answer, compare with friends, and settle who really knows the obscure stuff.
Keep your streak
A new daily quiz arrives at midnight New York time. Come back for it, build a streak, and track your record dive and your average. It is a daily trivia habit for a coffee break that stays with you all day. No account needed, and answers are checked on your device.
Far Out Plus (optional)
Today's dive is always free, and so is the latest archive game. Free play has a few ads a day; your first two daily games are ad-free. Once a day, a short video can open one Plus game for free. Far Out Plus adds:
• Play by genre: ten genres, from Movies & TV to Wordplay
• The 60-day archive of past dives
• Fresh practice sets
• Deep Space, a second world with a journey to the Moon
• Streak restore, once a month
• Removes all ads, on every game and every screen
Far Out Plus is a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Forever purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Manage or cancel any time in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
