The Purpose of the Translation in Today's Language

The NTLH version, released by the Brazilian Bible Society (SBB), is widely appreciated for its proposal to break down linguistic barriers and bring the biblical text closer to everyday reality:

Living and Current Language: Uses contemporary Portuguese in a natural way, eliminating archaic terms and complex syntactic constructions for immediate and effortless comprehension.

Clarity and Simplicity: Ideal for all ages, new converts, foreigners learning the language, and readers who want a fluid reading without losing theological depth.

Fidelity and Exegetical Rigor: Translated directly from the original languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek), combining dynamic and formal equivalence to deliver maximum doctrinal accuracy.
