About Green Tome: Plant Care Tracker
Green Tome is a plant care tracker and watering journal for your houseplants.
Log every kind of care — watering, feeding, repotting, misting, or a task you invent yourself — and let Green Tome learn each plant's rhythm. Open the app to a clear view of what's due today, what's doing fine, and what's coming up next.
Not a checklist app. Not another alarm clock. A quiet, focused plant care log that grows with your collection — from a single pothos to a fifty-plant indoor jungle.
🌱 WHAT'S INSIDE
• Unlimited plants, each with a name, a species and a cover photo
• Track any care task per plant — watering, feeding (fertilizing), repotting and misting built in, plus custom task types you create yourself
• One-tap logging, with the full care history of every plant saved and merged into one clear timeline
• Adaptive watering schedules that learn from each plant's own history — or set a fixed every-N-days rhythm, per task, per plant
• A "due today" overview across your whole collection, so nothing slips
• Rooms — organize your indoor garden by where each plant actually lives
• Built-in catalog of common houseplant species
• Clean Material 3 design, in light and dark themes
• Works fully offline, with no account and no sign-up
🚿 A WATERING TRACKER THAT LEARNS
Most plant apps hand you a generic watering schedule and hope for the best. Green Tome learns from what you have actually done.
Light, pot size, humidity, and the season all change how often a plant needs water — which is why a fixed "water every 7 days" rule fails so often. Instead of guessing, Green Tome reads your own watering history and works out when each plant is likely due. The more you log, the better it gets. The monstera you water every nine days keeps its own rhythm, while its feeding follows a pace entirely of its own.
And when a plant does not fit any pattern, you can override it: set a fixed interval for that one task, on that one plant, and leave everything else adaptive.
🪴 BUILT FOR REAL COLLECTIONS
Whether you keep one peace lily on a windowsill or a hundred plants spread across every room, Green Tome scales with you.
The built-in species catalog covers the houseplants people actually grow — monstera, pothos, philodendron, snake plant, ZZ plant, fiddle leaf fig, calathea, peace lily, spider plant, rubber plant, aloe, orchids, succulents, cacti, ferns, herbs and many more — so adding a new plant takes seconds rather than typing.
Group your plants into rooms, keep a photo of each one, and watch the history build up over months into a real record of how you garden indoors.
📔 A JOURNAL, NOT A TO-DO LIST
Green Tome is a plant diary first. Every watering, every feeding, every repot is kept, so you can look back and see what actually worked — which plant dried out too fast on the south-facing shelf, which one you have been overwatering all winter, how long that cutting really took to root.
Plant care is a long, slow hobby. The record is the point.
🔒 NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS
Start in seconds — no sign-up, no account, no email address. Your plants, photos and care history live on your phone and work fully offline. No ads, ever, in any version. We use Google Firebase only for crash reports and anonymous usage statistics, to keep the app stable — nothing else, and nothing sold on.
🌿 COMING NEXT
• Sync across devices — keep your collection in step on phone and tablet
• Seasonal schedules — different rhythms for the growing and dormant seasons
• Optional watering reminders when a task is due — on only if you ask for them
• Photo timelines — watch each plant grow month by month
Whether you are a beginner trying not to murder your first peace lily, or a seasoned collector tracking dozens of species across a whole flat, Green Tome gives you a quiet, beautiful place to keep the record.
