Choghadiya & Rahu Kaal

Choghadiya shows the auspicious and inauspicious times of your day, calculated for your
own city — not a generic table copied from a book.

Open it and you see the whole day at a glance: a wheel running from sunrise at the left,
through noon at the top, to sunset and on through the night, every period coloured by
whether it is good, neutral or best avoided. In the middle, what is running right now
and how long is left of it.

WHAT YOU GET

• Current Choghadiya with a live countdown
• The next good period, so you know when to begin something
• All sixteen periods — the full day and the full night
• Rahu Kaal, Gulika Kaal and Yamaganda Kaal
• Abhijit Muhurat, correctly excluded on Wednesdays
• Sunrise and sunset for your city
• Any date you like, through a calendar — plan weeks ahead, or look back

CALCULATED PROPERLY

A Vedic day runs from sunrise to the next sunrise, not from midnight. At 4 a.m. on a
Wednesday you are still inside Tuesday's night Choghadiya. Many apps get this wrong.
This one does not, and it applies the rule everywhere — every period, every date.

Sunrise and sunset are computed on your phone from the sun's actual position for the
city you choose, using the NOAA solar algorithm. Over 800 Indian cities and towns are
built in, covering every state and union territory, down to Leh, Kavaratti and Itanagar.

SHARE WITH FAMILY

One tap turns the day into a clean image for WhatsApp: the full day and night table,
the good windows pulled out so they are readable even as a thumbnail, and Rahu Kaal
marked. There is a Status-sized version for sharing with everyone at once, and a quick
square card for the question people actually ask each other — what is running now.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET

Every time is calculated on your phone. No signal needed, on a train or in a village.
The app goes online for one thing only: fetching its own updates.

NO ADS. NO TRACKING. NO ACCOUNT.

Nothing about you is collected or sent. No sign-up, no advertising, no analytics, and
no location permission — you pick your city yourself.

THREE LANGUAGES

English, हिन्दी and ગુજરાતી, switchable at any time. Period names appear in the script
you choose, on screen and on everything you share.

All times are Indian Standard Time.
