Morrowkept: Audio Journal

Morrowkept is a private, offline-first audio journal for your Android phone and Wear OS watch. Capture your thoughts, conversations, ideas, and daily moments with complete peace of mind: your recordings, transcripts, and AI insights remain strictly on your device.

KEY FEATURES

• ON-DEVICE SPEECH-TO-TEXT
Transcribe your voice recordings completely on your phone using state-of-the-art on-device Whisper models. No cloud servers, no third-party transcription APIs, and no audio uploads. Tap any transcript segment to jump immediately to that point in the audio.

• LOCAL AI INSIGHTS & SUMMARIES
Gain meaningful reflection without sacrificing privacy. Powered on-device by lightweight Gemma models, Morrowkept automatically summarizes your recordings, suggests descriptive titles, and lets you ask questions grounded directly in your recorded words.

• COMPANION WEAR OS RECORDING
Start, pause, and save recordings right from your wrist. When paired with your phone, recorded audio is transferred securely over Google Play services Wear APIs and verified before watch storage is cleared.

• 100% PRIVATE & ACCOUNT-FREE
No login, no user accounts, and no backend database holding your memories. Audio files and transcripts are stored in encrypted app-private storage, excluded from standard device cloud backups.

• VERSATILE EXPORTS
Export your memories whenever you choose. Save high-quality M4A audio, plain-text transcripts, timestamped SRT subtitle files, or complete ZIP memory bundles.

• SEARCHABLE VOCAL MEMORY
Search your spoken words instantly. Fast local full-text search indexes your transcripts so you can rediscover any moment by searching what was said.
