The Stork App, developed by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bahia (MPBA), is an innovative mobile tool designed to provide clear and accessible information on the minimum care required during pregnancy, according to the parameters established by the Unified Health System (SUS). Launched as part of the Stork Project, the app aims to ensure that pregnant women can make informed decisions about their health and that of their baby.

In addition to providing information, the app allows pregnant women to record appointments, tests, and consultations, closely monitoring the health services received. This functionality not only helps ensure that all procedures recommended by the Ministry of Health are performed, but also allows for continuous assessment of the quality of health services offered by the public health system, identifying areas for improvement.

The app also contributes to the creation of a valuable database, which can be used for the development of Business Intelligence (BI) by the MPBA. Cross-referencing data collected by the app with visits to health services allows for monitoring effective compliance with prenatal protocols and guidelines, encouraging a reduction in maternal and infant morbidity and mortality.
