Caller Name Announcer

Never reach for your phone just to see who's calling. Caller Name Announcer speaks the caller's name out loud while your phone rings, so you know who it is while you're driving, cooking, working out or across the room.

📞 CALL ANNOUNCER
• Speaks the saved contact name: "Mom is calling"
• Unknown numbers: read out the number, or say "unknown number" / "private number", your choice
• Lowers the ringtone while speaking so the name is clear
• Repeat the announcement, with your own start delay and gap between repeats
• Optional announcement for a second incoming call while you're on a call
• Stops instantly when you answer or reject the call

💬 SMS & MESSAGE ANNOUNCER
• Announces who sent you an SMS
• Optionally reads the message aloud, or only the sender's name
• Announces messages and voice calls from WhatsApp, including the group name

🔦 FLASHLIGHT ALERTS
• Blinks the camera flash for calls, SMS and other notifications
• 5 patterns: Rhythm, Fast, Slow, Heartbeat, SOS
• Shake the phone or press the power button to stop the flash
• Skips flashing when the battery is low or the screen is on

👤 YOUR CONTACTS, YOUR WAY
• Set a custom spoken name: say "Mom" instead of the full contact name
• Mute specific contacts from being announced or from flashing

🔊 VOICE & CONTROL
• Choose any installed text-to-speech voice and language
• Adjust speed, pitch and volume for calls, SMS and WhatsApp separately
• Pick when to announce: Ring, Vibrate and/or Silent mode
• One master switch to turn everything off instantly
• Pause for 15 minutes, 1 hour or until a time you choose
• Quick Settings tile to pause or resume from anywhere

📋 AFTER THE CALL
• Optional caller card after each call: call back, message, add to contacts
• Call history kept on your phone for 30 days only, clear it any time

🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything is processed on your phone; nothing is uploaded
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• No SMS or call-log permissions: messages are read from notifications you allow

HOW IT WORKS
Grant Phone, Contacts, Caller ID and Notification access once during setup. The app tells you exactly why each is needed. For reliable announcements, allow it to run without battery restrictions.

Works with Google Text-to-Speech, Samsung TTS and other installed voice engines.
