CAI: AI Roleplay & Stories

Step into a story and talk to the characters who live there.

CAI is an AI roleplay and interactive fiction app. Pick a character — a brooding detective, a historical thinker, a companion in a fantasy realm — and the story unfolds around what you say. Every reply is written for your scene, so no two conversations are the same.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Chat with thousands of characters across fantasy, romance, mystery, history and more
• Create your own characters and worlds, and share them with others
• Play as your own persona, with a name and look you choose
• Characters remember what matters in your story and pick up where you left off
• Bring scenes to life with illustrations of your story moments

CAI+ AND CAI PRO
CAI is free to use. CAI+ and CAI Pro subscriptions add longer chat memory, smarter replies, more styles and daily perks. Stars, our in-app currency, unlock extras like illustrations. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime in Google Play.

CAI is for adults 18 and over. All characters are fictional and their replies are generated by AI.
