Kids Pretend Shop

🌈 Welcome to Pretend Shop — the app that turns your child's device into their very own shop!

Kids love playing shop. Pretend Shop brings that classic imaginative play to life in bright, tappable colour: take orders, fill the basket, watch the total add up, and "pay" at the till — with big friendly buttons, fun sound effects and a satisfying little buzz on every tap.

🏪 MULTIPLE SHOPS TO RUN

☕ The Cafe — serve up Food, Drinks, Desserts and Cereal. Pizza 🍕, pasta 🍝, hot dogs 🌭, milkshakes 🥤, cake 🎂 and more.

🧸 The Toy Store — Soft Toys, Games, Arts & Crafts and Outdoor. Teddy bears, unicorns 🦄, board games 🎲, paint sets 🎨, play dough, bubbles.

⚽ The Sports Store — NEW! Ball Sports, Bat & Racquet, Fitness, Wheels and Kit & Prizes. Footballs, basketballs 🏀, tennis sets 🎾, bikes 🚲, trophies 🏆.

More shops are on the way — and they are covered by the same one-off unlock.

The Cafe is free to play. The Toy Store and Sports Store unlock together with a single one-off purchase — no subscriptions, ever.

🛒 BUILD ORDERS LIKE A REAL SHOP

Every item has a big picture, a name and a price. Tap to add it, watch the order grow in real time, tap the red X to remove anything they change their mind about, and see the total update instantly. Brilliant sneaky practice for early number skills.

🥜 ALLERGY AWARENESS

The Cafe shows allergy info on every item. Pick allergies like gluten, dairy, eggs or nuts and the menu filters itself — with clear little icons so kids learn about food safety in an age-appropriate way.

📱 TAP TO PAY WITH NFC

Switch on Tap to Pay in Settings and children hold two devices together to complete a pretend contactless payment — just like grown-ups do. A cash register "ka-ching" and a gentle buzz confirm it. No real money involved, ever.

✨ MAKE IT THEIR OWN

- Name the shop (up to 20 characters)
- Pick a background for the main screen
- Choose a logo — rainbow, unicorn, dinosaur, football, dolphin and dozens more
- Set the currency: £, $, € or a custom symbol
- Light, Dark, or follow the phone's theme

So every shop is unique — "Emma's Cafe" one day, "Jake's Sports World" the next.

👶 DESIGNED FOR LITTLE HANDS

Big, easy-to-tap buttons and bright, friendly artwork. Works in portrait and landscape, on phones and tablets, adapting the layout so everything stays easy to see and reach.

🔒 SAFE FOR KIDS

Purchases sit behind a parent gate that needs a multiplication problem solved, so only grown-ups get through. There are just two one-off purchases — unlock the Toy Store and Sports Store, or remove ads. No loot boxes, no subscriptions, no surprise costs. The Cafe is free to play.

🎓 LEARNING THROUGH PLAY

Without even noticing, children practise:
- Adding up prices and handling money
- Reading item names and categories
- Understanding food allergies
- Taking turns and role-playing
- Making decisions and managing a list

Alone, with siblings, or with friends — Pretend Shop builds creativity, confidence and conversation.
