About Dracula: Interactive Horror

Transylvania, 1893. A young English solicitor travels to a remote castle to meet a client who never eats, never sleeps by night, and casts no reflection.

Read Bram Stoker's classic as it happens. Journals, letters, telegrams and newspaper clippings arrive on your phone one by one, in the order the characters wrote them. You read over Mina's shoulder while the horror closes in.

AN INTERACTIVE STORY, NOT A PAGE OF TEXT
This is a story game you read in messages. No walls of text: each journal entry, letter and telegram arrives on its own, like a chat. You decide what the characters do, collect clues in a notebook and uncover the mystery at your own pace.

CHOICES THAT OPEN HIDDEN SCENES
Accept the landlady's crucifix, or refuse it? Stay in the calèche, or follow the driver into the dark? Every chapter has decisions that reveal extra scenes and clues.

MINA'S NOTEBOOK
Every clue you find is noted down. Some only appear on the path you did not take, so read again and find them all.

SOUND AND ART
A haunting piano score and recorded effects change with every scene, from the Carpathian wind to the storm at Whitby. As the story goes on, voices whisper closer and closer. 85 illustrations, in every chapter.

READ YOUR WAY
One, two or four messages per tap, everything at once, or automatic. Turn the sound off to read in silence. Your place is always saved.

ENGLISH AND PORTUGUESE
The whole book is written in both languages. Switch at any time, even in the middle of a scene: the same moment reappears in the other language, right where you left it. Handy if you are learning either one.

27 CHAPTERS, THE WHOLE NOVEL
From the Borgo Pass to the final race against sunset, in about four and a half hours of reading. Replay any finished chapter from the chapter menu.

THE FIRST THREE CHAPTERS ARE FREE
Read until the Count's three brides appear. One purchase unlocks the whole book. No ads, no subscriptions, no energy or coins.

Based on the public domain novel by Bram Stoker (1897). Contains horror themes and descriptions of violence.
